Real Mexico City street tacos
Jose learned street food at a family stall in Mexico City, then spent 20+ years in Pittsburgh kitchens before he and Berenice opened the truck in August 2020. The star is the trompo: guajillo and achiote pork stacked 28 pounds high, crowned with pineapple and shaved hot onto doubled corn tortillas.
Alongside al pastor you'll find carnitas, chori-pollo, campechano and birria tacos, quesabirria with consomé for dipping, giant crunchwraps, elotes and three house salsas: verde, roja and a roasted habanero.
